Wow, between that and the removal of Attrition it seems like Respawn is tripping over themselves to fuck up this sequel. They seem really intent on killing the things that made Titanfall a fun, unique experience. Looks like I might not get this after all then.

That’s really, really shitty. Because Bounty Hunter came nowhere near how great attrition was, even when I allow for some imbalances because of continuing development.

Sure buddy. Go back to Jezebel where they buy your BS and doublethink.

If you haven’t heard that colloquialism then I would doubt your English ability, not the other way around. And if you truly were confused on a common phrase, google is your friend:

There’s that low brow “humor” that Gawker was replete with. Really the worst part of the shut down is that people like you aren’t contained there anymore.

Roadhog also tends to clip her wings pretty well. Pharah, like most characters, is only really great if you and your team refuse to counter her or suck.

“Reinhardt is only used for attack and that’s mostly for payload maps.”

Yeah, that was a big complaint of mine for this game, but I was hoping it was mainly intended to attract the CoD/BF crowd who were into that. In the first, those game modes had a small player base, and were never the meat of the game. The tech demo is only a part of the game so I am operating off the assumption that

No. This site was enjoyable before you all came to shit it up.

Fuck off. Gawker was shit. Gizmodo was good. It was good specifically because it fell far from the Gawker tree, just like Lifehacker, Jalopnik, and Deadspin. The people were nice, the articles were mostly relevant and well written (less so after the merger, but nowhere near as bad since Gawker died), and it was

Battlefield had strategy? Could have fooled me.

How is it stupid when their complaints are very valid? Did you even try the tech demo? Did you play the first to have a proper frame of reference for what the first did well and what it needed to have improved?

Those were two of my big complaints as well. I could tolerate the first, as I could see a big, heavy hitting weapon breaking the balance on a fast titan, but the second really sucked. You weren’t mobile enough to escape or close quickly, ESPECIALLY in the fat titan, and that made it hard to play well. I ended up just

DOA how? It has a lot of people excited to buy it, especially because of the inclusion of single player that was sorely missed in the first, and the company is listening earnestly to fan feedback. They also addressed the complaint of lack of variety, and seem to be implementing more unlockables and combinations to

Rodeoing was much harder, as was killing Titans as a Pilot in general. I felt like the only way to sufficiently fight a Titan was with a Titan of your own, which I feel is a very bad departure from the first game.

How did it feel empty to you? This isn’t supposed to be a PvP type game, it’s supposed to be mixed AI and PvP with most game modes encouraging a balance between killing AI and killing other players. Making this 24v24 would completely negate the purpose of the game modes and a core gameplay mechanic by overpopulating

All rewarding player kills does is make it hard for anybody new to participate, and it shifts the focus from the game mode to killing other players so you don’t fall behind. Less experienced players start off behind the more seasoned players, and stay behind and unable to get better because the game denies core

Oh wow, being mean is grounds for being banned? I guess we’ll wait for your ban to come in!

“Hey, you know that game mode that everybody loves and is our most popular in the game?”

Wait, they did?! That was pretty much the only mode I liked to play! Please, please, please tell me they’ll bring it back before the game launches, because if not then I don’t know if I will actually buy it. I was pretty underwhelmed with the two game modes in the tech demo...
