This post just makes me wish games like Descent were still a thing. I've got it on my Windows 7 laptop, it takes a bit of work (i.e. 15 minutes and following directions from the still awesome fan community) to get it to work, but man it is still better and more challenging than 98% of games that are published today.

Honestly, the chances of getting confused with a 12 year old console are probably minimum. If anything, people will refer to it as just "The One" just like we referred to the Xbox 360 as a "360" or the Nintendo 64 as an "N64" or just plain "64"
