There-in lies the big problem - you want to make something people will see, and it's easier if you know there's popularity in the project you pick. Aging badly works a little better as justification (except for Clash of the Titans because screw you for getting my hopes up, Leterrier!) than poorly executed. Then again,

I don't get the hate for Gladiator either. It is exactly what you want when you go to see a big sword and sandals type movie. It hits all the right notes and looks pretty too!
(Glad they took out the scene where the Christians are fed to the lions - didn't do anything for story.)

That explains so much!

Was the tragic dog meant to overladen the scales for Barbrady, in case no one felt sorry for him?

But that performer is not in the rest of the series!

Sorry to hear that.

Once Alexandria is a smoking ruin, Rick and Co will head off to find another "safe haven." Except this time, the safe haven has heard of Rick and Co, and shoos them away.
"Wait, does that one have a katana?"
"Oh Christ, it's them!! Get some guns!"
"You don't how to live in this world. We can be useful to you-"

Not sure whether I liked this episode or not. It seemed to go by fast, which suggests I was involved. At the same time, I felt really aware of how little was going on.

I loved her necklace and grey dress. That was a gorgeous outfit.

Easily the best reading of the whole evening!
Great episode as far as physical gags, but Cisco's tone was brilliant.

Snazzier business cards?

Wacky? I thought the killing of Lobo went strangely dark. Maybe it's because I didn't see them *spoilers?* taking the girl wolf behind the shed and killing her. And the founding of the Boy Scouts bit sort of came out of nowhere at the end. I think that skit should have been the two-part "third act" instead of

If you fade out, it seems like more time has passed in a montage…

That would depend on the virus, I think.
Viruses are not very bright.

This folds back on itself - if everyone is a carrier of the virus, then there's no need for living flesh consumption unless it's not a virus carrier. RIP Tabitha - you might have been the cure…
Seriously though, I asked my initial question out of curiosity. It's not something into which I ever really delve. I bought

"A Bat, a Bicycle, and a Canteen" is a spin-off I would watch.

Sure - and being able to continue the host existence after death is a big plus. But then why kill other carriers out right? They'll still remain hosts…it's fine that there's no real answer. It was just on my mind after the past couple of episodes, where there's the horde of thousands and only a couple of survivors to
