I really enjoyed this Peter Pan more upon a second viewing. It's impressive in how adult and realistic this one is in terms of the downside of unending childhood. It's a better film than that saccharine "Hook" and the Disney version (which isn't so bad because it's blithely unaware of itself). And Peter is more

If that happens, I think it would actually be worse because it would treat AoU like it didn't matter. And it matters more in this movie because the threat stemmed from one of the Avengers, not an outside force.

Thank you!

Yay! The Flash is back!
My quip: There is no way that in this day and age, a city the size of Central City would have a Souza-esque march playing to welcome the Flash at that ceremony. I'll buy a lot in a comic book show, but that was too much.
I find I missed Cisco. And now that Cisco and Joe are working together, it

I thought the effects/makeup for Vision (Bettany) were outstanding. Not him blasting lasers from his forehead gem, but the skin quality.

Thank you. He gets one line of Fury snark, and Captain America breaks a log at him, but really it's just fine overall? That in and of itself should create enough conflict for the next film.

It was 40 seconds that was clearly different from everything else - easy to latch onto?

I would have been fine with the scene included, as I would know that it was meant to point to future events. Much as I like Loki, I know he's not the center of the (Marvel) universe.

Snerd?

I'm not sure there's a difference there - she doesn't care about herself, so she's not caring about others. It doesn't apply to all who've suffered a loss, but with Clara I think it does. She's a thrill seeker already, and now she has less that matters in her real world, so she's less affected by the losses of

True, I am in need of a raise…
Ahem, I'll show myself out, thank you.

Because Jason is new, and Effie is a professional. She should be able to handle difficult people (like Jason) better. Jason is acting like a kid with a big, new allowance. My expectations are lower for him.

You mean cut her off for her own good? I actually like that - it sort of highlights consequences of behavior.

I'm leaning towards her dying because of her recklessness. I think it would be sad, but a little refreshing at the same time oddly. But I would not want her character to die just to pile on more guilt on the Doctor. Tough balance, if it's even attainable.

In the behind the scenes bit during commercials, they explain that you're supposed to be seeing all the way through to the back of their skulls.

Like the wave in the tunnel? That one got me to blink.

I liked the episode overall, but I took a different take on the Clara/ Doctor conversation about her "going native." I thought the Doctor was warning her about thrill seeking as a means of not thinking about her losses. I was actually really glad he said it - when Clara said she wanted adventures and explosions, it

Ok, I admit I actually like "Don't Stop Believin' " because it's so vague. It's just powerful enough to be encouraging, but goofy enough to not take seriously.

Oh, there's a whole hoverboard fight - it gets *intense* with the close-ups of Lundgren's face!

Yes, trash movie. But it was a trash movie I treasured for a year (probably months) of my childhood, so they did something right. Man, I must have been truly starved for quality back then.
