I tuned in late, but from the sound of it that's very biblical - the children of woman being the enemies of the serpent, the serpent striking at the heel of the woman, etc.

I'm disappointed they gave Jason what he wanted - especially after each separate meeting where each and every non-Jason entity suggested that there was some back alley shenanigans going on. Even Affleck noted that Effie was just doing her job. Then that poor production manager - I felt my abs tightening watching her

I loved how the phrase "if we choose to do any outside shots" clearly stuck in his throat. As though the Douglas Fairbanks house was Madame Garbage Heap.

I'm really digging the phrase "adventurous but elegant suits." Well said.

His dresser was way too sycophantic - he needed to be clearer, instead of blandly saying variations on "maybe/whatever you want"

I'd say the same. I easily support her over Jason, but the…well, it's not glee, but when she goes grinning into drama I lose sympathy for her entirely. For example, I thought she was justified in not wanting to apologize in the beginning, but I found her high-horse attitude and laughing to be really childish.

It's like e-commerce insurance, except it's life and more tragic.

It's the classic riches to rags story!

Perhaps they're hard C's - kekil

No worries - I understand where you're coming from as well.

the thing you need to finally reach The Plains Of Silence and leave the
ghosts of your loved ones behind

I personally think that there's a huge murky zone, at least when it comes to comedy, between finding something offensive and simply finding it unfunny. The fine line between "failing to see the humor" and "being offended."

That quote is a non-starter.

I'm not your buddy, guy!

"Are the bullets made of wood?"
"…No?"
"Then I don't like any of the properties."

That sounds almost like Marge and Homer's marriage!

It give's such a warmer picture than digital. Like, you can see the layers of color.

Duly noted.

I thought it was funny how the executive kept saying "35% tax refund" every time he mentioned Georgia. It was like you could hear the bolding of the text when he said it.

Well, he failed the "gun to the head house decision." So yes, you'd probably be right.
