Meh, the fact that I'm asking for a definitive answer from strangers should give you a hint as to where I am on actually seeing this movie.

I have the exact same reaction to open-world games, but I never thought of it as "anxiety." Anxiety implies a need to get something done, or a fear of not getting something done. Games that don't have overall time pressures don't make me feel anxious about not doing them. I give myself permission to not be a

So…should I see this movie or not?

According to Schumer - chocolate cake and pudding pops.

Precisely. Couldn't agree more, especially on your last point.

I'm sure the DC universe is full of monsters with insatiable appetites, right? Or Superman did it on a dare?

I have this image in my head: At the end an Injustice: Gods Among Us fight. Lex getting out of his robot suit and saying, "Trudy, get me all the cows. And pies. But so help me if you get cowpies I'm going to be very unhappy."

The real question from this episode should be:
How did you run out of cows, Eobard?!

I thought that as well, especially when Eobard notes that Cisco's choices would be "honorable." He said it to himself, like a critique, as though he had just figured out the identity of another future person!

Counter-sigh.

….MARYLAND?!

Cisco wasn't, and I thought it was very telling that the biggest time travel geek was the most skeptical when Barry said yes.

I suggest you don't worry about such things, and just enjoy yourself!
(That goes for you all, too!)

*sigh* You don't have superpowers - it's just Cold!

- Jam is my jam!
- See that? Women are funny!

Haha the villains might not make sense, but the romantic subplots will!

Well, you have the whole summer to catch up!

In my enjoyment of the episode, I completely forgot it was the season finale. That cliffhanger really caught me off guard. So sad for Eddie, but he got sucked into that singularity, so maybe he won't be dead for forever (something comics do all the time). Overall great season!

That's because Mars is bored. She's operating on a different plane from everyone around her. I'd say watch a season - what harm could it do?

But isn't that what comics are? Serial bad guys with overarching menaces to be dealt with at the end? I think this might be the crux of a larger cultural issue, as concerns the audience. I read comics and enjoy deeper issues mixed in with my action sequences. My nephew reads comics and loves bright fights with quips
