I'd agree with you - I didn't know there was a racial element in complaints. Then again, I wasn't looking for it. It's sad, but it wouldn't surprise me either.

Mr Murray - don't be afraid to actually criticize others shows! You're so nice, trying not to step on any network's/ franchise's work, but it's okay to make comparisons and voice your preference. Believe me, we in the comments section will make our criticisms whether we are prompted or not ;)
Maybe it's that term - "potential love interest." We see it all the time, and yet there's nothing "potential" about it. It's clearly going to happen, which makes all the dancing around stand out as pointless contrast.
The show might still go there - I mean, she has to be pretty wrapped up in her joyful spite to not realize that giving full rein to religious fanatics who admit to answering to no earthly power will not end well for her incestuous behavior. And as the pre-trial shows, it doesn't take much to prove guilt. Olena might…
That is an incredibly inflammatory question.
Perhaps it's the medium?
Or perhaps the people who've read the books and are commenting on the show did not comment on the books at…wherever the many are speaking these days.
(I've read most of the books, but I really don't care for the fanaticism of book forums.)
I'm reading a lot of "wait and see if this [wedding rape scene] pushes Sansa/ Theon to action," and it bothers me. I waited through beheadings, several forced marriages, a couple of attempted murders, many actual murders, abuse both mental and physical, cruelty, assault - but now THIS is what I'm supposed to HOPE is…
Perhaps, but I wish you didn't couch it in terms of the "final push." Sansa's been through some really awful plot points - why would this have to be the thing that turns her into a "player in the game?"
That seems like an unfair accusation.
I think a B is fair. As a backstory it's mildly helpful, as it explains another section of Vanessa's past. The ladies really played to their strengths and characters, but I recognized that I wanted to see what was going on outside this backstory, that there were redundant moments which didn't move the backstory plot…
Ah yes, but more than you did before?
Oh, I meant before all that - at the beginning. Sure, no way I would expect rational behavior by the end.
"Knowing we’re heading to Cersei’s downfall…" Oh, it can't come soon enough.
Fair points, but she had a toehold on the faith point about wanting to see him for the family. She could have pressed it.
Well, if the goal was saving him, I would think that seeing Claire would give him hope of rescue. And then Claire would have reassurance that he was alive. Murtagh might have gotten a better idea of what was going on? I've read the book, so I know what's to happen (though I won't talk about it here anymore), but as…
Tough episode, to be sure. Claire sure is lucky that she has a great team willing to stick by her - even when she's sneering at them for their apparent lack of grief.
It's a well known industry fact that cows, being unable to understand the numbers "1" and "9," won't know to unionize if kept in groups containing said numbers.
"I am the night - it's much easier without electricity."
True story.
I want to say consecutive? I find it doesn't matter, as the specifics disappear in weeks, replaced by new memes.
