Alan Moore isn’t a bastard either. Though he’s definitely a very strange and eccentric man, though in a way that’s kind of endearing (when he’s not being grumpy about adaptations of his work).

Pretty much.
Please don’t. Don’t do this. Don’t “American Gods” this.
Good point. It would need to be someone whose lived that life, or someone whose willing to do the research and talented enough to portray it accurately. I hadn’t even thought of that.
Why was her ongoing canceled in the first place? Isn’t she one of Marvel’s most popular characters right now? That’d be like Stan Lee canceling Spider-Man during the 60s or 70s.
Lance Reddick as Wesker is some inspired casting. I’m for it!
These days delinquents and gangs are probably more likely to be sporting urban streetwear/”hip hop” clothing. Hip hop being in quotes because it’s usually inspired/parallel to western fashion rather than being taken whole cloth.
Looks pretty accurate.
Believe it or not, J.M. Barrie actually wanted Captain Hook played by a woman. Specifically the one who played Mrs. Darling in the same play!
Titans is so frustrating. Because it could have been good. It should have been good.
It’s also nice to have a consistent, faithful, kindhearted version of Superman on television right now, since we’ve had so many dark, evil homages and versions of him, from Homelander to Zack Snyder Supes.
One of the great things about that show is that I realized one particular episode barely had any scenes of Clark being Superman and I honestly didn’t care because I was so invested in the drama of Clark and his family and their lives in Smallville.
Superman and Lois turned out to be a really high-quality show too. Way above the other CW shows in terms of writing, acting, directing, and special effects.
While we’re on the topic, Superman and Lois (as well as Black Lightning) feel like a completely different universe from the other CW shows in terms of tone and execution. S&L feels more like an alternate universe (due to Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsy Tulloch playing the characters in previous CW stuff).
Of the ones I’ve seen, Superman and Lois and (maybe) Black Lightning are the only ones I’d call good by normal TV standards, and not “good for a CW show” standards.
So I guess just fuck Howard then.
I feel like this is overblown. Is it cringe? Sure.
NO.
Its funny that Tony Starks belief system is shaken by Santa Clause being real but not Thor.
And from what I hear, Star Trek TAS is actually one of the better cartoons from that era.
