I dunno about you, but nowadays I either read manga, stuff from other publishers like Image, or Indie comics.

We should be focused on moving things forward, always pushing the boundaries and finding new stories to tell. That’s how we’ll survive and grow this industry.
I don’t think we’ll ever see another ongoing show on CN like Steven Universe for a long time. All their other new stuff besides Infinity Train seems to skew a lot younger and has more of an episodic slice-of-life formula.
“Steven is a no-neck chump”
Steven Universe Shippuden (or Steven Universe Z).
Me: All their returning shows aside from Steven Universe look very kiddy. Not for me.
Well, at least sort of steampunk/victorian for Oxford and the beginning parts of the story (and even then, I don’t know if Steampunk is the right word, but definitely something classical. Kind of like a Dickens novel with slightly more advanced technology).
Really?
Steven vs. Evil XJ9/Mickey Mouse/Luffy.

Ms. Coulter was actually raven-haired in the books though.
Visually, it looks very different from how I imagined things looking. It looks more modern instead of steampunk, the alethiometer is square instead of round, and Iorek’s armor looks like it’s made of stone.
DEAR GOD, WHY DIDN’T THEY JUST MAKE IT WITH REALISTIC CG ANIMATED CATS?! WHY?!
Okay, so first off, this article is from last year. Second, the actual case is far less serious; it was basically an awkward misunderstanding between the two that led to an uncomfortable date, but no actual misconduct. And last but not least, I think it’s pretty cheap how this site brings up old articles like this for…
Yeah, ok, you are not debating honestly, I’m done
The heroes that kill are totally portrayed as grey characters, in contrast to characters like Spidey or Captain America, who are considered paragons and who. do. not. kill.
Paul Kinsey summed up what I was trying to say, but you also realize characters like Superman and Batman did kill before the Comics Code. Marvel heroes kill in modern stories, but that doesn’t make them any less heroic. Again, if it’s a situation where a villain is actively putting others in danger and trying to…
Caught with marijuana? Career-ender.
Speaking of, I feel like the whole “superheroes don’t kill” is a relic of an era where the Comics Code enforced kid-friendly heroes, and it’s something I’m glad Marvel eventually ditched. I’m not saying DC/Marvel characters should be bloodthirsty murderers, but there are plenty situations in DC Comics where killing is…
You’d think the return of old diseases would be enough to convince these stupid bastards that they’re wrong.
