It’s something that affects black boys too. You have children being treated like full-grown men, and being punished like them too.

It’s a 25 year old game. It’s biggest spoiler is a meme at this point.
Except Barret was literally the stereotype of black people.
It’s a shame that even with the re-translation, we’re still not getting the original Barret. To say it’s a missed opportunity is an understatement.
I agree. It’s an outdated portrayal that should have been modernized. Even for it’s time, they were pushing it, but now there’s no excuse. In all honesty, it should have been changed by the time they started doing FF7 spin-offs in the 2000s, but they still kept Barret the same.
Agreed. Rich people taking advantage of the poor so they can sit on their asses all day and do nothing is a tale as old as time. Hell, that’s what slavery is.
Well, this is sad to see. First Kanye sells out. Now Steve Harvey. Though honestly, Steve’s been a sell out for a while. This is just him completing the transformation.
I can’t even read/watch Rurouni Kenshin anymore because of that. And RK is one of the few mangas I’ve read from start to finish, too.
Was I talking to you?
Oh, and in case you didn’t find out about it, I got another bomb to drop on you (in this one in particular really, REALLY sucks):
I’m trying not to let it taint Edward Elric for me, but on some level it kinda does. At least a little.
Same.
That too. “Belligerent” is another loaded term (i.e suspect is being “belligerent”).
Not “love” in the sense that I know them and care about them the same way I would a family member or close friend. “Love” in the sense that I love their work.
I’m starting to wonder if there’s some secret cabal of pedophiles running the justice system, cause this is the third story this week where a sexual predator got off scott free for raping an underage girl.
What the fuck even is law anymore?
I dunno. There were some rumors about Ian McKellen. They said he might have been involved in some of those Hollywood “parties” Bryan Singer was having. Jury’s out on whether he was or not though.
BREAK YO SELF, FOOL!
Don’t forget that any time a black woman shows any sort of passion or strong emotion, whether it be anger, excitement, or just simple sarcasm, they get labeled as “sassy”.
Good point. There’s a chance she’s telling the truth, but there’s also a chance she’s twisting it or outright lying, especially given the context. I guess just wait and see.
