a choked out hairy fetus.
a choked out hairy fetus.
Like most things involving Sonic, this is turning into a fucking disaster.
It’s really sad, because I think an animated Sonic movie (not live-action. Animated) could be a lot of fun. Hell, we have proof!
Even I have to admit, Alita went from creepy to downright cute after the design change.
At the very least, you gotta give them props for listening to the fans, openly admitting they messed up, and trying to fix things before the release. Most studios aren’t that open about their mistakes.
I didn’t know about other people having pushback against it. I was just talking about my own personal opinion back then. Part of it was definitely that I’d never seen him really do a serious role before. He was always the comic relief guy back then (Man, that feels like such a long time ago).
Remember when everyone was like “Heath Ledger? As the Joker?!”
Right? I remember when Chris Evans was cast I was like “What? The guy who played Johnny Storm in the FF movies? The guy from Not Another Teen Movie?! That’s who they got to play Captain America?” Now I can’t picture anyone else in the role. When I think of Captain America, I don’t even see the comic book version…
Don’t forget Spider-Man riding a motherfucking Pegasus with a fleet of Valkyries. That was awesome.
The final battle is the single most comic book thing I’ve ever seen in my life. It was overwhelming, almost to the point of sensory overload (and this by no means criticism either. In fact, it’s high praise). My head started spinning at the point where Spider-Man was riding on a Pegasus with an army of Valkyries.…
I remember when the idea of the guy from Not Another Teen Movie, the guy who played Johnny Storm in Tim Story’s Fantastic Four, being cast as Captain America seemed like a terrible idea.
Storm getting her mohawk from being struck by lightning is stupid. Thank goodness for Paul Smith.
The justice system is a boldfaced lie.
Normally I’d be disappointed that a Sonic movie doesn’t have Tails or Knuckles in it. But considering what Sonic looks like, we should consider ourselves lucky.
It seems like one of those movies where a committee of old white dudes were like, “hmm, this is what the young demographic are into these days. Lets add that.”
It’s like someone made a big budget remake of a very bad fan film.
Sonic. Looks. HORRIFYING.
That’s not what you were saying though. You were saying that most game stories were at a Charles Band level. I was pointing out that plenty of games have good stories.
Speaking of game stories, I just wanna get this off my chest: Final Fantasy is famous for it’s stories, and they’ve definitely made games with deep, rich story lines and lore, but I feel like they learned the wrong lesson from Final Fantasy 7. That game had a plot that got pretty complicated and labyrinthine (while…
if you’re judging games by their narrative content most of them are about Charles Band movie level.
