I liked how they made Curt Connors one of Peter’s college professors. Even though they never got to make him the Lizard before those films got canceled.

I hope this is the start of something. It’d be really interesting to see other Marvel characters get their own “life story”.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. Hell, a lot of the comic book characters that we love so much (and that Moore is clearly in love with himself) were created by guys who were just looking for their next paycheck. Sure, some were passionate about the artistry of it, but plenty weren’t.

Yeah, it’s not uncommon for two people to hate each other, or to at least be rivals, because they’re so alike.

At this point, Alan Moore just seems like he has nothing left in him but anger and bitterness, to the point that it prevents him from seeing anything good about comics being made today.

As much as I hate how almost everyone in the Ultimate Universe is an unlikable asshole, I liked (and miss) how when they promised that nothing would be the same anymore after some big change, they fucking meant it.

I dunno, Alan Moore seems more like the Saruman type. They both have that same glower, intimidating eyebrows, deep voice, and Rasputinian beard.
