Being that the MCU isn’t afraid to change the backstory of its charscters, I wouldn’t be surprised if Shang-Chi’s dad becomes the (real) Mandarin.

I think it’s funny that Iron Fist got the TV show, but Shang Chi of all characters is the one who gets his own movie in the main MCU.
