I’m referring to the giant battle we’ll see in Avengers 4, though.

It can’t seem to figure out if it’s a terrible laugh track-driven sitcom, or a terrible, convoluted soap opera.

I’ve had Avengers 4 on the brain ever since the trauma of that ending.

But Black Mask is supposed to be a Joe Pesci-style mafia brute. I don’t see Ewan McGregor pulling that off.

So I guess Hector is gonna be the “Reek” of this show.

I gotta say, this show has been a surprise highlight of recent Netflix.

The reason this show is so good compared to other video game adaptations is the same reason stuff like the MCU and the DCAU is so good compared to other comic book adaptations. It’s actually made by people who love the source material, and the medium itself, with all their hearts.

Yeah, there are a lot of 80s movies that are surprisingly racist and sexist. And 70s movies are even worse (Taxi Driver is a blatantly racist film. though it’s not Scorsese’s fault. It was the scriptwriter. Scorsese even had to change some things to make it less racist).
