What I’m wondering is what the fuck is John Goodman doing here? He’s an acclaimed actor, it’s not like he needs the money. His Roseanne days were long behind him.

I sure as hell don’t see Bobby supporting Trump either. He’s far too empathetic and open-minded.

To me, Roseanne being a Trump supporter feels like a betrayal.

“That’s my go-to example of a movie considered bad that I genuinely enjoy.”

The late 2000s were just fucking awful in terms of films and especially television. There was virtually nothing on TV. It was an absolute wasteland.

.....I actually thought Scary Movie 3 was the funniest out of all of them. I remember really enjoying it.

Speaking of, A Wizard of Earthsea was one of those books I had to drop because I just thought it was boring.

That’s true. Maybe there’s another surprise in store....

Yeah, but I really don’t have any hope for Ronaldo. Besides, why the hell do they keep giving him episodes but ignoring Peedee? That kid could have been the Ron Weasley to Steven’s Harry Potter.

Steven Universe (Cartoon Network, 7:30 p.m.): It’s not quite a StevenBomb, but Cartoon Network is airing two new episodes of Steven Universe tonight. The first, “Can’t Go Back,” sees Ronaldo-

On the other hand, it’s definitely not a shonen anime for people tired of shonen anime.

Even before the divorce, Jennifer Garner was getting shit roles. It just seems like she’s been forever doomed by Hollywood to play the younger housewife to men that are way older than her in mediocre comedies.

True. It annoys me how certain American comedies like Archer have characters that hate each other and are constantly at each others throats, but then insist that they’re “like a family”. Just seems false.

I’ve noticed that British humor tends to be a bit bleaker and matter-of-fact; the situations can be just as absurd and madcap as American comedies, but their’s an underlying bitterness, and the characters are usually resigned to their dull, pathetic existence, whereas American comedy tends to at least soften the blow

“the Avengers films and standalone Marvel films have really bled together in recent years (“it’s a Thor movie WITH Hulk, featuring Doctor Strange!”).”

Did....did that actually happen?

Me too. As the article points out, even Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2 didn’t have as long of a gap between release dates.

My sentiments exactly. I don’t give a flying fuck about Ant-Man and Wasp’s spy hi-jinks (spy-jinks?) after what happened to everyone else in Infinity War. I wanna know how they fix this. The wait until 2019 is just agonizing.

“Sterling K. Brown’s portrayal of Christopher Darden describing OJ as the tale of someone ‘doing their very best to get away from the community’.”

Kanye is dead to me. I thought his last good album was Graduation, and I haven’t seriously followed him since, but I could at least respect his work ethic. But not anymore.
