No, I don’t think that was the intention; they were just reporting that item. The context in which they did it is odd, though. Really, it should have been a separate article. Putting it in the middle of the report on how dumb Trump (and Perry) are is kind of strange.

I was waiting for some kind of footnote like “Alex Jones is claiming it was a hit put out by Hillary Clinton” or something. While I’m sure that conspiracy is coming, and I feel terrible for this poor guy and his family, I’m not yet seeing any reason to report it alongside the more major news.
