I’ve been listening to a podcast called Off-Book: Improvisers Jessica McKenna and Zach Reino spend a few minutes getting to know a comedian, then create a musical based on the story they tell. The results are highly amusing; I would particularly recommend the episode featuring Drew Tarver, AKA the musical Pillaging

I recently discovered “How Did This Get Made” and have been enjoying it heartily.

Hi everyone!

LeVar Burton Reads—it is essentially Reading Rainbow for grownups and it is the BEST.

Hi Jezzies! Nail update!

Stuff your mom never told you. Feminist podcast that is hilarious, insightful, and addresses issues throughout every intersection. History, current events, pop culture, random shit. It is the bees knees.

I heart Fiona and follow her on the twitters! J’adore the little tiger baby the San Diego zoo has! He was being smuggled, and the smugglers got caught and sweetie pie went there, for now. The video of him burping after a bottle is priceless.

Bitch sesh and watch what crappens are hilarious, I also love the Bugle and Friday night comedy from BBC 4 someone here suggested the History Chicks and No such thing as a fish which are really great as well

Today I went to a tag sale and bought 6 bottles of nice nail polish (usually retailing for about $10-12 each) for $25. I am excited. Tell me what cool stuff you bought at a discount recently!

That is a very big, very moist cat. Also, those potted plants are un-chewed, which is strange!

I am about to lay the flooring in my front room- BY MYSELF. I pulled all the carpet last week. (Also by myself) . I will be glad when this project is done.

Hey everybody, do you have a weird fact you would like to know about a celebrity? Every time I see John Cena in a commercial for Hefty garbage bags I wonder if he knows his last name means price in Polish and dinner in Italian, although they pronounce it chena.

See, I really enjoyed Girls (though the last season was kind of a let down; the finale in particular) but I watched it as satire. I think a lot of it was indeed satirical but after rewatching it and having read more interviews with Lena Dunham, Girls seems like it might have been a love letter by Lena to herself.

It has always made me feel like a bad feminist, but I’ve always kinda actively disliked Dunham. She seems like such a shit stirrer to me.

Also Ryan Seacrest is not hot. He’s attractive in the sense that his face is symmetrical, but he is not hot. I don’t want to imagine Seacrest fucking me or anyone. He is a human Kermit the Frog. I want Seacrest to sell me toothpaste.

For real though... why don’t young people use condoms anymore?

Remember Double Dare? That was a good show.

I’m not crying, you’re crying.

Man, remember GUTS. That was a good show.

This looks great, but please, for the love of humanity, Donatella, don’t bring back Gianni’s gilded 1990s menswear!
