MINE TOO! So dark. I think it makes you explore sides of yourself during the reading. “Would I sell my soul for eternal pleasure and beauty?”
I can’t even explain it; I just felt intoxicated by it. It was so seductive.
This is my favorite book of all time, and I am so fucking excited.
Not super excited about “It” because goddamn I’m so tired of remakes, even great ones. And “Mother” honestly doesn’t seem that scary at all. But this...this looks fucking weird as hell. 10/10 will absolutely watch.
All couple goals should be Goldie and Kurt! They are the only couple goals! I have spoken!
For real. Like, we all make fun of everyone else, why not Pratt? He so thirsty he did it before his movie even came out and made him a star. He was still lovable Andy from Parks and Rec.
Not just the trainer! What about the dietitian and the chef(s)? Also, probably more than 1 trainer, I mean, do you want your cardio guy in charge of your lifting routine??
Also, childcare, housekeeping, and a personal assistant to deal with stupid little things like buying Christmas presents. And at least one stylist…
I happened upon a husky mix 5 years ago and after several weeks of searching for her home with no luck, decided to keep her. She is the sweetest dog but Jesus is she hard work. They’re escape artists and runners and will not stop. After an entire year of obedience school and a real-time GPS collar, we’re a lot…
I’d dump Chris Pratt for putting his shirtless selfie on the Internet and whining about his brother made him (???). It’s cool Hollywood wants to pay you millions to get in shape as the next Chris, but maybe cool it with the half-naked selfies? We get it, you’re desirable.
She can put on a show, loved her RED tour and 1989 (the bracelets were BOMB lol).
(Shoving my way into the conversation.) I’d say American Gods or The Ocean at the End of the Lane. If you have any interest in graphic novels, do the Sandman comics. I re-read them once a year. And if you do audiobooks, I’d recommend that, because he has a great voice and usually narrates his own stuff. Also, the 10th…
I am that person. Was not a fan before. Am now. She really showed courage and chutzpah.
The book has its differences from the movie. I think that, story-wise, I like the book better. (The movie is visually wonderful, too.)
If you don’t mind a bit of Young Adult fiction (and quite frankly, it’s my favorite genre even though I’ve grown out of it at least two decades ago), Coraline and The Graveyard Book are fun, swift reads.
American Gods is good; I love Anansi Boys. It’s not as outright chuckley—though it is funny, full of sly humor—more ... fantastical? The way Gaiman writes contemporary fantasy is like magical reality meets surrealism.
Meh. He’s not really popular in the city. New Yorkers think he’s a schmuck. His reputation of being stingy, rude and a bum when it comes to paying his bills is known citywide.
If you can get your paws on it, I strongly recommend the BBC radio play of Good Omens and Neverwhere.
he is a whiny bitch
