Knew it was law. Mine was law, too - but this was 5 or 6 years ago, so not sure what the current “dress code” is. I’m sure it hasn’t changed much, though!

Better than those god awful Tory Burch flats that were practically part of my uniform when I was a ~professional~. They were so uncomfortable- I’m pretty sure we all just agreed to suffer in silence.

Melatonin!!!

He did?!?! Oh man, now I might have to see it.

A little late to this party because I was reading this at my desk earlier and started tearing up - had to wait til I got home ;) - but wanted to let you know, this is amazing! You truly are an amazing mentor. To take that time and effort and to truly impact these girls lives. Wow. Just. WOW.

Someone down thread said they liked it better on the runway, it was so much more dressed up on the runway, with the white neck thing being gold and I totally agree.

By FAR the best here. I actually don’t mind Hathaway’s except for that stupid neck choker thing.

Straight off the bat I thought Anthony Edwards!

I kind of feel like at this point it’s so typical as to the point of being boring. They do these giant sphere arrangements all the time. And I LOVE flowers. I’m very bored of this though. But what do I know, I’m not a bazillionaire. And the sentiment is very nice.

I have left over bins from moving right now, I’ll be sticking my two in there and hope I can crack the top enough for air but not enough that the sneaky one escapes. I like your pillow case idea better.

I had to do an insane amount of googling to find out that Hilaria Baldwin was not Hailey Baldwin, and that Hailey baldwin is not Alec Baldwin’s daughter and I’m ashamed to admit the search hinged on the fact that knew that Sean Mendes (who is this person even???) went to the met ball with a Baldwin. Also I feel like

If you want to go old school, there’s something like this

Literally every where in ny smells like pot. Jk jk I get it. I’d be more upset about the cigs - and this is coming from a smoker.

Agreed. The doxxing was way out of line. I live in a rental in NYC and we recently got a letter asking people not to smoke in the hallways. I’m surprised that if she went to the board nothing came of it. That would probably be my first line in this saga (“I went to the board and nothing was done”) - I live in a not

This sounds like me 6 or 7 years ago! I, too, was a writer, had no idea what to do beyond that and went to law school. I won’t bore you with the details (I posted below about my brief journey). I really hope you continue to enjoy it!! There was a fair amount I liked about lawyering, but the billing killed me.

I was going to be the speech writer for the president (thank you “the American President”!). Went to umich and then Nyu for playwriting. Went to law school. Practiced law for around 4 years. HATED it. Got a job basically surfing the internet and now am doing research and digging up horrible info on companies, which is

I know! Not only the couch, but literally everything! They can NEVER go on vacation - I don’t even travel that much, but they can’t even have an animal sitter come. Love the IG though and what she does to raise awareness of juni and her amazing other animals.

Was going to post this myself. I follow her IG and it’s really interesting and has made me in no way want to adopt a fox.

Adding Lucia di Lammermoor to this list! I saw it years ago, and had a friend who used to work at the met, so we got tickets all the time, and this was by far my favorite! Skip the Flying Dutchman (there’s no intermission and that’s half the point of the opera!)
