I also hate how every time I leave someone a message on their cell phone I have to listen to their recorded message, then still have to listen to the monotone woman's voice explain to me that I can push a button to hear the beep or just wait for the beep or leave a "call-back" number.

I don't think the patent has been officially awarded yet. Plus, I'm not 100% sure that this is patentable since it's a rather obvious extension on something that's been around for hundreds of years.

Naturally, no amount of iPhone engineering on Apple's end will fix a problem that is fundamentally wrong with AT&T.

These girls should set up OpenDNS.

@rcgalati: I suppose if 20% of all iPhones had this problem, you could attribute it to a design defect, but I seriously doubt that many iPhones have the problem. We'd have to see some numbers.

@Brian Lam: It's just as likely that you'd be able to find other iPhone 4's that have a similar problem when you touch them in other places as well. Like I said, antenna manufacturing is an extremely variance sensitive thing.

Is this true for EVERY location? So, does this mean that no iPhone 4 will be available at any AT&T store anywhere on the 24th?

@92BuickLeSabre: Dang, I can't seem to get any of the live streams mentioned on lifehacker to work.

Is there something I'm missing on the ESPN3 website? I can't seem to find the live video stream.

Is there something I'm missing on the ESPN3 website? I don't find any live streaming games...

Why would this job describe only a game developer? Why wouldn't Apple want someone who could create a cool 3D interface for one of their next projects for the iPhone/iPod?

I'd like to gripe about Thunderbird for a sec if I may. Mainly, just one gripe.
