I'm mildly sure you can if the controller is Bluetooth. If you can sideload apps on it there is one that allows you to use a wii remote for games, and gamestop sells bluetooth controllers for tablets. The kindle fire is unique though so I'm not entirely sure about any of this.

Having watched my friend play the first 30 min of it at my friend's house, I can now see why I was uninterested in this game, It's fallout new Vegas in a fantasy setting. Hell, lock picking is exactly the same from fallout 3 and NV. I have New Vegas but never finished it (graphics died, replaced, new games came out)…

I think it's a bit too early to speak about balance yet. The meta-game has yet to fully develop and exploits have yet to be found (though this is a good thing).

I have to agree that multiplayer is more of the same, and really the campaign too, but the survival mode is genuinely fun and worth the $40 to me. Anyway, this is my away from Battlefield 3 game because this one still has a semblance of fun while playing solo.
