Premade group of 6 vs individual players is a big problem for SBMM though.

I think the consensus is that WHATEVER they were doing a decade ago was better. Its one of those odd scenarios where there is a difference between SBMM and “SBMM”.

I think CODs is notoriously bad at it, even among shooters.

IDK about this exact entry, but often unranked game modes do not offer full (or any) level/rank/whatever progression. With the increasingly brutal progression systems in games, unranked is often seen as a waste of time.
