Though I think purple onions are the best raw onion to go on a burger. Sauteed onions should just be on everything.

At the stores I shop at, the soy and almond milk are in completely different areas from the actual dairy products.

The real question that gets me is why wonton skins are always in the same location as the soyrizo and tofurkey.

This was something I noticed over the last few years too. Admittedly, I’ve started keeping my extra containers of nut milk in the fridge. I say it is out of convienence, but I feel like I started doing it around the same time they started displaying it in the chiller case at the store.

It isn’t. They are just trying to brand it that way and it isn’t like it is the first product to get close to the mark in comparison to the real thing.

I was vegetarian for most of my adult life. I think keeping the faux meat along side the tofu in the produce section is perfect, as it has been everywhere I see it. Yeah, these products are for meat eaters who want a ‘healthier option’ and newbie vegetarians/vegans who don’t know how to cook, but I feel like keeping

I love how you compare someone barely making minimum wage delivery take out to arms merchants, drug company reps, and hitmen.

I tried Skip the Dishes a few times. My food always arrived cold . . . . unless it was something that was supposed to be cold, in which case, it arrived solidly at room temperature. The delivery staff are nice enough, I just think how they manage everything isn’t working very well and resulting in a lack luster

Only watched the first minute. Who goes to DQ for burgers? I honestly think that I have never eaten anything for DQ that wasn’t a dessert item.

Hot fudge, caramel sauce, fresh apple sauce, salty peanuts, and a hit of whipped cream on the top. I have served this ice cream sunday on a piece of corn bread which was amazing.

I can’t watch Adaptation because his character’s inner dialog is just too much like my own. The only difference between his character and me is (1) my boobs and (2) I seem totally normal on the outside. I’ve watched it in chunks and I hope to make it to the end one day.

Go watch Leaving Las Vegas and then tell me Nick Cage can’t act.

I’m certain she will insist that there are ‘two sides to the story’.

If you are wrecking your halloumi cheese then you turned it too soon.

Or you could make real mac n’ cheese from scratch as it is 1,000x better, takes the same amount of time to make, and doesn’t take that much skill.

Or just make mac n’ cheese from scratch. It really is not that hard. I learned how to make it when I was 11 or 12. All it is is macaroni pasta, butter, flour, cream (because it makes the sauce so so rich and thick) and a soft cheese like cheddar.

That sounds like gilding the lily. You can just put halloumi cheese into a dry pan and fry it because it is already 1/4 fat.

Just toss whatever you are going to tip into the cup and go. Most of the places that just have a tip cup get their tips by customer volume. They aren’t super worried about your 50 cents to $3.

I’ve traveled all over and I’ve never experienced jet lag. I usually just adjust my sleeping pattern in the couple of days in advance of my travels and sleep according to the daylight schedule for wherever I am heading.

Wow. That is just . . . terrifying. It is the kind of thing to make you tell the rescuers that you’d rather just walk it off.
