Canned goods can be safely consumed years after their ‘best before date’. On the rare occasion that canned goods genuinely go off and are unsafe to eat, it is generally pretty obvious.

Make sure you wash that bottle once in a while. All kinds of nasty stuff can grow inside it like streptococcus and E.coli. Really, anything that can travel on your hands or mouth. 

And all the fancy bottled water is, per the IBWA allowed to be up to 50% tap water. You are paying for what already comes out of your tap, just run though a filter. Sometimes they even add minerals back into it for flavour.

How about they wipe out some student loan debt for their employees? They can still brag about it on Instagram.

I would be able to stand Guy Fieri if he, just once, wasn’t fake orgasming over literally everything. If you paid him, he’d tell you about the delicate flavors and textures of store brand dog food.

I am very on board with eating anything for any meal and that looks like an amazing start to a day.

Well, the man has spent his entire career surrounded by yes men and sycophants who themselves have made careers (and bank) on just saying yes to every crazy idea he has. And lighthouses are just automatically haunted places. Having read the history of many lighthouses (this is a particular favorite of mine) they tend to have the perfect backstory for a horror lighthouse film.

Me and an ex did this with our cat when her parents complained that they’d kind of hoped she start dating guys so that there would be grandkids. BTW, cats fit pretty well into baby shirts . . . if you can get them into it.

I used to have a 20K cycle commute, part of it on a large road. More than once, I had drivers come up beside me and then try to shove me off the road. Some people are just complete assholes.

I tried to find Zima for years. I finally found it when I was traveling in Japan. Tastes like Sprite with vodka in it. I specify Sprite, not 7UP . . . 7UP being the superior lemon lime soda.

I have a tiny dish on my stove for taste testing. I will spoon a little of whatever I want to taste test into it, let it sit for a moment, and then taste. This does two things: prevents cross contamination (because it super grosses me out when people taste off of the spoon/spatula/ladle that they have been stirring…
