The engine specs alone knock it out of class competition. The side profile, bearing a striking resemblance to a GMC Acadia that costs much less takes another step in the wrong direction.

I have the same question. I have only seen Jalopnik make this reference in relationship to Cadillac.

Funny, I went to the Cadillac website to review the options, saw the side profile, and was wondering if I had clicked on the GMC Acadia site.

Realistically, Enterprise or Hertz are more set up to profit from such a subscription program, yet they don’t offer such a subscription. Probably telling.

The problem is simply branding. They labeled and announced this V like they did previous V cars, and these cars do not live up to the previous generations. Had they labeled them V-Sports, or V-CT4, etc., as Cadillac did previously and BMW did/does, then no one would be angry.

Mostly because the real Polestar V60 models ended with the old generation, correct? So at most, you have a few years old car, which for many is wonderful (I buy used and depreciated, myself), but this guy wants 2018 or newer.

Agree with not compromising for the sake of expediency. Though, both the vehicles you suggested generally do not meet the fun or fast goals. Plus, they are out shadowed by the more refined MB. I love the V90, I just don’t allow myself to forget it is not supposed to have any sporting pretense.

But the A4 is in the same size class, right? So they are used to the size, just not the “luxury” vs. non-luxury offerings.

...on the slower more plebeian version of the car I had before.

This is automatically worse to me, because of the tunnel dividing the seats. I get scooting across is not elegant, but one should always be able to move across without climbing a wall.

Correct. I expect the manufacturers will simply provide parts for warranty work, rather than reimburse money for inventory. Either via a contractual route, because they sell them the parts in the first place, or via delayed warranty work. Probably not going to force dealers to have a second “warranty only” inventory.

It dos day “Mustang inspired”. So not a Mustang. Not even a version of the Mustang, but nit a Mustang. Think of it like how BMW M4 inspire X4 and 4-Series gran coupe.

Good points. Originally, Uber saw itself as that middleman. Obviously, the whole price setting thing changed the picture.

Not sure why you have so much misplaced confidence. No one agrees with you and you have no basis in fact or reality.

So you agree, they are a payment company, NOT an internet seller or retailer.

With this analysis, how many cars does a Porsche sell?

So what do you consider PayPal?

You sound like the guy at Auto Zone trying to sell me Altezzas.

So Tesla was able to talk someone into giving them some time. Yay!

Actually, I am an idiot. This is a DB7 Volante with the GT package. Still has the special exhaust and the eBay listing says it has a V12 (but no picture of the engine bay), but is not a DB8. Hope the selling dealer checked under the hood and is not thinking that the Alpine V12 amplifier relates to the engine.
