Oh my god, the HSG was the worst. And no one warned me about the pressure. It might not have been so bad if I was expecting it. I guess they use them to try to open tubes blocked by endometriosis, but holy hell was that uncomfortable.

As far as I can tell, losing the US market shut down Adiana everywhere for financial reasons. Maybe someone in the UK or Europe can confirm?
I had Adiana (similar procedure to Essure with a silicon matrix implant instead of a metal coil) done in 2009 and I had to chuckle because the xray with the dye (hysterosalpingogram) was definitely the worst part. And yeah, 7 years of bliss.
There was another option, a similar procedure implanting a silicon matrix the size of a grain of rice into the fallopian tubes instead of a metal coil dangling from the tube into the uterus. It was called Adiana. I had it done in 2009 when it came on the market. I chose Adiana over Essure because I didn’t feel…
