Nissan should focus on developing a new Maxima. It should be a 4 door station wagon that has 2 transmission options. An 8 speed manual as standard for fuel efficiency and a 7 speed performance package manual transmission with gearing optimized for 0-60 time and a 7th gear for top speed challenges.

Sounds very similar to how Ford helped create Kingsford Charcoal.
