Scones, hear me out. I had a baby in October, which I purchased a 2014 m235i for baby in May. The BMW was because my other cars are coupes and I needed something to baby. The engine in those F20 series are some of the most reliable bmw ever made.

Point taken. I knew about the video since its release (I follow Doug on a social media). I only now watched it since it was “scrubbed from the internet”.

You’re right, of the options listed in the article, the VW is the only one to MOD.

I’ll bet it was Sloan Toyota that ACTUALLY gave you the price for a few thousand off. I got my truck from them and hot damn were they aggressive with the pricing.

Hey there. I never mix internet life with work life. I even feel weird writing this. But it sounds like we work in the same industry. Any chance you want to make a professional connection and we can see if we can help each other out?

Oh perfect opportunity. I still don’t know what it was, but judging by all the wheels, it looks heavy.

I couldn’t believe I had to scroll this far to find the first mention of a FoST (Focus ST). Or honestly even a regular Focus will be sporty enough for most people. Available in manual, meet the MPG requirement, excellent driver car. Well within the price range.

If you find a car at CarMax, go to the website and put a hold on it and get the PPI scheduled asap.

All bridges are inspected on a 2 year cycle. Some are inspected on a 1 year cycle. Large signature bridges (bridges with a signature name like Golden Gate Bridge) such as this one are probably split up into different sections so that there are multiple crews on the bridge almost year round, all inspecting different

It is amazing how without any formal training, world wide, that is the accepted torque spec. Maybe it is something we are born with. Or maybe natural selection has eliminated all the three ugga ugga individuals...

You don’t need me to tell you this. But that’s a great pedigree of cars you’ve had.

That’s not real.

I have had 2 Outbacks and 2 trucks. I am ready for something more sporty. I have autocrossed my wife’s Cayman and I plan on doing events in upcoming vehicle. I would like to have a backseat, RWD, stick, and it must at least be able to keep up with the Cayman (BRZ is out). I didn’t want something older like an E30

Backing into a spot allows you to pass the spot first and safely check the space before proceeding. You also have better awareness of your surroundings in that scenario before performing one of the most dangerous* parts of driving.

Skoda Motorsport was one of the ones promoting the news yesterday on the socials. I am pretty sure they not only know about it, but also encouraged it.
