Having seen him do stuff like this, none of that story surprises me.

Even the lead-up of them goofing around picking a name delighted me. It has never really been about “Top Gear”, it has been about these three old sods and their interactions with each other.

Again, an entire show of just the “behind the scenes” footage would alone win everything :] Those 3 dudes are like a s’more. Each ingredient is rad on its own, combine them and you get greatness!

I know I’m excited about the Grand Tour when I’ve enjoyed every promo clip and it’s just been them talking in a parking lot.

I’m going to be flamed for this, but I don’t care. There can never be too much speed, I’m 62 and have been playing with cars in places called Lime Rock, Bryar, Thompson, Bridgehampton, Watkins Glen, Monticello, and more since I was 18. The problem we have is people who have no idea what they are doing being able to

Still wicked ugly tho.

I thought MB dealerships were run by sophisticated, well-travelled individuals.

Someone at Porsche really....

I am liking the idea of engine swap like this. Much better than all the generic 2JZ and LS series swaps out there that it feels like every tuner does. I bet it is kind to sound like the gates of hell opening when you rev it up.

They don’t call him Captain Slow for nothing..

They should bring back The NEUUUWS too. Just a bunch of car guys/gals sitting on the couch offering spontaneous, unscripted opinions of upcoming cars. Great opportunity to learn more about their tastes, gel as a unit, and for us to see them not hidden behind a script.

This is one of the most well thought out and explained stances on the removal of chris evans. I applaud this article and the ideas held within it. I think that a newer, more organically grown chemistry will surface and with it, the new generation of car nuts will be brought forth.

Diverse face of car culture, you say?
