The 2020 VW Harlequin Golf.

This. The market doesn’t exist anymore. But it’s not crossovers that are the killers of fun. My wife has a Renegade Trailhawk that I don’t like, but there are a lot of fun elements to it. And she loves it.

Why didn’t they just use a column shifter?  That would’ve been way easier and more reliable than this motorised folding thing.

Holy crap Kinja. They would still have paper menus.

It’s not a bad idea, however, I think i’d prefer to use a paper disposable menu instead. I’m already having nightmares thinking about the poorly designed virtual menus being tough to navigate.

To be fair to dodge how many problems can their 2 cars have after 13+ years in production?  I figure those should be worked out by now

It was a SLIP KNOT for a garage door handle. A knot tied to be a loop so that a human can put their fingers in it. Next, your gonna say that all those Texans who wrangle cattle are mobile noose twirlers

No mention of NASCAR and Noosegate? After it came yesterday it was all a hoax, a disgusting publicity stunt to use racial tensions to increase ratings? After all the stories here pushing it just days ago? I think this illustrates the real purpose of identity politics fairly well. Its not about racism, never was. Its

Mitsubishi gave up on us a while ago.

There’s a difference between accepting risk and courting danger; and courting danger, and walking blindly into extreme danger. It’s all shades of gray. Not commenting on McCandless’ particular situation here, but in general.

Right now, given everything, Ford should probably play up the fact that this guy:

Such an asinine controversy.  Unreal.  Fuck OJ who cares?

This seems just monumentally stupid all around. Who gives a shit? Don’t we have more important things to worry about than a new car’s release happening to fall on the birthday of a possible murderer (who wasn’t convicted) who was vaguely associated with a distant forefather of the model? Why does anyone but OJ Simpson

The basic idea here is that the show is about good people, and we want to see them do good things. I’d like to think that being a good person and an American cop aren’t mutually exclusive.

You’re forgiven if you’ve never heard of the occupation “food anthropologist” before.

This kind of thing is what people never seem to understand when they wish for the Tesla sales model to be ubiquitous.

Feels to me more like a refresh than a new generation. If the powertrain stays the same as per most rumors - I’d call it a gen 3.5 not a gen 4. If it gets a twin turbo v6 with 450hp - then I’ll excuse the interior lack of updates. But - then what about the Supra? If the ISf is faster, all Toyota, and the same price??

“the Gladiator... Probably the best looking truck of the last 15 years.”

Second gear: I’ve stopped paying attention to the media in relation to Covid. There’s too much info that either doesn’t add up, or contradicts other things. While I don’t not think it’s a thing like a lot of these crazy ass people do ( I actually think me my mom and my sis had it in the beginning of February), I don’t
