His blaming CalTrans is pretty mis-placed... the real problem is that LA has ignored “transit” for generations.  It could be another 40-50 years before they build ANY light rail or Metro N-S from the Valley to the Westside.  It’s stupid, but welcome to LA.

Yes, chicken farming has issues with the corporate overlords, low profits, immigrant workforce, animal conditions and diseases, but Spurlock is a sensationalistic muckraking opportunist.

Spurlock has one of the most punchable faces I’ve ever seen. It just screams “disingenuous prick”.

This.  More car articles on a car website would be nice.  Who feels “climate guilt” anyway.  Al Gore doesn’t and he uses more CO2 than pretty much 99.9% of the population. 

I will not, for any reason, feel guilty because I’m being shoved in an uncomfortable flying tube. I don’t care if it poops out 10 tons of CO2 per passenger, flying is one of the worst forms of travel in existence regardless of it’s environmental impact. It’s the textbook definition of a necessary evil.

it’s similar to Tesla where they are pumping money into worldwide expansion and undercutting the prices for rides until they get an amazon like level of marketshare where they can jack up rates with minimal competition.

There is nothing really noble or enlightened about this. Recent immigrants tend to be poorer. Meat costs more than vegetables. The stores stock what people can afford at a price they can afford. People buy what is available.

As for your whole CDC thing. If you/they are right, then what we need is gun law reform. But something definitely needs to happen.
