Well it works both ways. The owners pay less and the workers don’t claim cash tips on taxes.

Ive been making the argument to just pay workers a wage and abolish tips for years. I always get called a jerk for it though.

I don’t pretip but I always tip large first round so you get better service the rest of the night.

This says more about which restaurants are smart about labeling portion size than actual health.  Pizza Hut must just give you half a pizza as a portion or something. Or their dough is made by the same people as subway bread.

Panda express has steamed veggies instead of rice/friedrice/or nooodles. I usually get the steamed veg, string bean chicken, and mushroom chicken and I think its rated around 400 calories all in. You can get lower if you are into beef with broccoli. Thats their lowest cal thing.

The joy of pizza is its versatility. I wont dog him for grapes on a pizza because it might taste great. I will dog him for being Jamie Oliver though. Never really liked his content he put out.

There’s a simple solution if you really need a standard. Just hold prisons to the same standard as school lunch.  Get the basic guidelines and go with it.

I’m not a fan of the put every processed food on top of noodle soup style of Korean noodles but they do make the best instant noodles.  Samyang in particular have the best texture.
