Preface I live in CA so that’s where my pricing comes from.

Its pretty clear the motive of this article is just to rag on capitalism but Id like to point out some stuff and lets look at some of the issues that should be more prevalent in the American dialogue. Also most if not all posters here will find faults so I’m going to focus on some nuggets of truth in his statements..

Not really.  I can buy a lot of apples for the 3 dollars a bag of chips costs nowadays.  

Have you ever made a baked potato in the microwave and cooked it a bit too long? The bottom gets super crunchy like a chip but not yet burnt. I have often thought that with enough trial and error you could make microwave potato chip with no oil.  Maybe I could figure it out and make the worlds first healthy potato chip

It really depends on the market but Im sure plenty of landlords will go for the get what they can get model.  It likely better to get the rent at 50% now and have the tenant stick around until it gets better than to boot them out and have to find someone new.

Update Reply: In more good CB news, CB has brought trout to the Camarillo CA location which is great. On the minus side, takeout CB is not nearly as great as dining in.

They are indeed generally a not the best use of money.  If I had it to do over again (which I wont ever) I would have just use the money to fly us, our siblings and parents to Hawaii for a week.  We would have a quick ceremony on a beach and then everyone could relax for another 5 days before heading back.

We were together so long prior to our wedding everyone just gave us cash. It also helped that our wedding was out of town.

This seems like a solid weekday meal. Ill give it a whirl next week.

That salmon looks overcooked. I think this method is a bit silly really. You have little control of the final product and there’s a ton of opportunity to screw it up with water seepage. Why not just use an oven.

Yeah in all honesty if we are going to make eating out a chore then Ill just skip it all together. Just invite people over and make a meal.

Hows McDonalds stock doing. Between this and the spicy McNuggets they will pull some pretty good numbers this quarter.

I’m not up to date on kosher rules but couldn’t they just source non pig derived gelatin from say cows and put the stamp on without changing the recipe?
