Screenwriter: “I’m really proud of what I wrote for Kang.”

Yeah, you’re right, I completely managed to put out of mind the whole Movie as Meme element, and didn’t bother looking at the actual reviews because, you know, RT reviews.

Now playing

the plane crash is one of the best superhero scenes ever

Being an MCU fan is extremely mainstream and the claim “nerdiest MCU friend in group” means next to nothing.

Noooooooo.... the movie ends with him throwing his heart thing into the ocean and being all done with Iron Man.

Then, 10 minutes later, he’s back

I’m sorry but have Last of Us fans and critics never, ever, ever seen another narrative TV show in their entire life? Is everyone in junior high?

I agree that it’s getting ridiculous to count Twitch metrics as a form of popularity. Not everyone who plays it is going to stream it. Nevermind it being a game that’s more or less “one and done”.

Meanwhile, per the lawsuit, HBO Max was also pissed to learn that SPDS was retroactively declaring that the two 2021 specials that had made their way to HBO Max after airing on Comedy Central “counted” as the entirety of the show’s 24th season, and that Season 25 of the series, which aired in 2022, was only going

Reminder, the problem isn’t the nepo babies.

Considering how apprehensive everyone was for how a third season could work plot-wise when the reunion was first announced, that was a very satisfying premiere. It was exposition-heavy since we had to get refamiliar with where everyone’s at, but it gave me hope there are going to be some fantastic episodes to follow.

I would categorize that as part of the floating tank apparatus and therefore a floating tank malfunction.

What actually bothers me more about it than it being a looter-shooter (albeit I AM bothered by that because of the history these types of games has) is that it looks like all four characters practically play the same.

They tried to state how they were different but in the end all it looked like was watching four

I’m of two minds. One, yeah, totally agree. Audiences are spoiled rotten with the astonishingly beautiful, near-real CG environments. It’s annoying if you can’t tell what’s happening on-screen (the final fight scene in the first Black Panther springs to mind, which was just poorly conceived. It’s a bad idea to have

Truth is, BoBF’s premiere had more viewers than Mando S2's finale did. BoBF’s finale had the exact same viewers as its premiere.

Jesus. You guys are absolutely desperate to hold on to the illusion that these movies are worth enjoying and defending. Just because your bar is so low doesn’t mean everyone else’s should be.

I’m a senior vfx artist who has worked on 6 Marvel films across 3 different vfx studios. None of those 6 films contain my best work and most of them I don’t even include on my showreel because I’m not proud of the work I did in them. Marvel is a notoriously difficult client to work with and, in my experience, the lack

Did they? Honestly, I feel like Marvel’s CG has always been sort of hit and miss. In one movie you’ll have things that look great and things that look janky, and I’m having a hard time thinking of a movie where that wasn’t the case.

The movie looked awful.

Huh, this is timely, considering I just watched it for the first time last weekend.
