This is just about perfectly lined up with my ideal version of Star Wars content.  I am so very, very on board with this.  Here’s hoping.

I don’t watch or particularly like SNL these days but I think it should just go on forever.

The bidding war actually concerns several companies paying not to have to produce the next Tomb Raider movie.

They say there’s a bidding way. But also they don’t say how high those bids are.

He’s complaining about how movies are financed. And he’s right to complain. It’s very hard to finance an original movie. Everything’s been about franchises, sequels, prequels & reboots for a long time.

Yeah this is a good way to put it. I love the show, but it is slower than Breaking Bad

But it’s amusing to see some people assuming that if Hulu doesn’t run these ads, people will never, ever learn about...”

As a sidenote, there was one scene that encapsulated the issue in this film for me. It was a really small one, so I’m not assuming that it stood out that much, but I kept thinking about it while watching the rest play out. It’s when Sierra goes to the forger, who tells him to wash his face so that he doesn’t look

Sure, it was bad and dull.  But if your thing is drone footage establishing shots of cities with the name of the city in block letters, you’re in heaven over this news.  That was at least 40 minutes of it.

The only reason to go with Hiddleston or Holland is if you want future Bonds to be more of the Connery or Moore flavor.  Neither Hiddleston nor Holland can play tough guys.

(Cristin Milioti)... (William Jackson Harper)“

Stop right there; I’m in.

I had no intention of seeing this, but Marc Maron as Lex Luthor? Okay, I’ll at least watch it on streaming. (...probably while high)

“I think that I may be the voice of my generation. Or at least a voice. Of a generation” is the quote from Girls.

In the split screen montage there is a very quick shot of “SG WAS HERE” carved into something. Maybe near the dumpsters. Have to believe that comes back to haunt him.

I don’t really understand how there is much of a debate here at all. If you understand how corporate finance functions work, you know that Disney had forecasts for how they expected this movie to do and are measuring its success off of that. We don’t know what their forecast is but it would be fair to assume they

Plus it gives time for feedback and to make adjustments for later seasons.

I don’t know if finding validation on present-era AvClub is as edifying as you’re making it out to be.

I gotta say Wong has had a really good go of it so far. He was in almost every MCU film this year, Shang-Chi, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange MOM. He’s gunning for the most cameo’d MCU star.

Notably that would still not constitute a retcon.
