i miss all the mini booms and busts of the mid aughts. people made so much money on ringtones for, like, 18 months.

didn’t michael jackson do this constantly? doesn’t tom cruise? surely if those guys did something you wouldn’t call it ‘weird’.

as soon as i wrote it i was like ‘that can’t possibly be the right term’ but whatever it is, the last 40 minutes in particular look awful.

and up and comers can’t get those jobs anymore because the middle has fallen out everywhere, even commercial budgets. it’s either no budget stuff shot by talent on their phones or they spend the money on a name director.

nice to see another temple of doom disliker. even as a kid i found it more boring than anything else.

i think it would have been nice if he was in the bandares role (and maybe changing it so he gets shot and doesn’t die. having him be like ‘cmon dr jones we get shot all the time, go after the bad guys!’ would have been a fun button to that otherwise weird detour.)

idk man the digital lighting in crystal skull really turns me off. not to mention the plot itself!
