you’re also allowed to dislike a celebrity for whatever bullshit* reason you want! that’s why they’re celebrities! liking/disliking a stranger is inherently stupid to begin with!
he’s performing. he’s obviously a savvy businessman with a great team behind him. it’s an act.
and yet - i want to see him burn alive.
watched it last night with my mom. its about as good as a 4th beverly hills cop could be. would have loved to see what bad boys’ adil & bilal would have done with the material, but i’m really happy with what we got. even got a little verklempt.
one of the more cursed movies due out this year. always a good sign when they let the movie sit for 2 years before doing reshoots with another director.
as a fan of indie movies, absolutely true. they simply don’t exist at that scale anymore.
i’m throwing my bra at my laptop over here!
don’t usually get worked up about celebrities either way but i’m truly growing to hate this fucking guy for genuinely no good reason.
yeah i mean, if i’d seen him in less bad stuff in the last year i wouldn’t be sick of him haha.
i saw her in this new movie that tig notaro directed and both of their weirdo energies really worked together. i wouldn’t say i have a strong opinion on her either way, but it’s always interesting which actresses are just simply not liked by people on the internet.

it seemed like they were operating on the presumption that murphy would come in and do the improv magic he did with the other two (and most other movies he’d been in). it’s not like he had much to work with in the first one, either. he basically made that movie up himself on-set.
i don’t necessarily agree with the marketing department, but there genuinely might be some psychological effects to having ‘see me. don’t.’ in your movie title.
“Rappers, on the other hand, want to be taken seriously as being legitimate gangsters from the streets.” citation needed.
i bet the marketing department hated the name ‘get out’ too
so in 10 years when the license expires what happens? because we’ve already seen that with celebrity ai voice stuff.
hunger games reboot and this means that we’re full-in on ‘oh crap we spent all the millennials 20s on reboots and sequels and adaptations and we forgot to make any culture to reboot and sequelize for gen z!’ panic mode.
eisenberg was doing great work in stuff like roger dodger when cera was doing canadian commercials.
and he got to make another sequel to it after that!
