i’m maybe the most curious i’ve ever been about how a movie will end up being marketed.

not strictly an actor, but i feel the same way about spike jonze, whose grandfather and great grandfather have their own separate wikipedia pages.

idk, anyone who ever worked with him going ‘nah the guy isn’t a cannibal’? people stand up for child abusers and rapists all the time!

it is very much ‘baby’s first interstellar’, for better or worse. if you’re an adult and you’ve seen what it’s aping it’s pretty boring, if this is like the 2nd sci-fi movie you’ve ever seen it’d probably rock your world.

yeah we’re getting that and the nice guys 2 as a double feature any day now.

if the general public is that willing to drop you immediately and not a single person in the industry comes to your aid (that i recall?) it’s clear that, at the very least, he’s not someone who’s worth paying to be in a movie anymore.

can we get gore verbinski out of director jail already? if guy ritchie gets 3 releases a year we can surely throw gore some dough.

it remains very, very funny to me that his career completely evaporated because he was too horny.

the two things that made him famous were mtv2uk pumping him full of drugs and having him interview people more pilled out than him, and the radio show he did after he got clean talking about all the drugs he used to get pumped full of. there’s nothing else there!

it’s definitely more of the same and is running out of steam, but it still works enough for me. i’m not shocked or surprised or anything anymore, though, yet i remain curious as to where this is all going.

show is still fine but it’s really running out of steam.

5 years ago it was sort of fresh, but at this point it’s just the same bit over and over. however it still works as a raunchy, straightforward superhero show. hard not to be disappointed it isn’t more clever, but also i’m glad it’s not as bad at the source material.
