to some people ‘taking the L’ is black slang so it hurts doubly.

it would be nice if that satire was doing anything except microsoft word find and replace.
oh come on it was a bad commercial but it’s not ‘false advertising’.
it also doesn’t even work anymore with the ai crap.
crazy to get the movie out a year and a half before the tour ends. don’t connect with her music much but i respect The Taylor Swift Machine a great deal.
watching this tonight and i’m gonna be barking like a dog and clapping like a seal.
eh, even if they were able to market it in such a way that everyone clearly understood what it was (largely impossible in the current advertising landscape), that still doesn’t mean it has any mass appeal.
i think the reason people remember 3 so fondly is because it seemed crazy it would be any good at all, 11 years after 2. those lowered expectations and the big swing at the end (and the fact that you presumably saw it as a fully developed adult) means its remembered a lot more clearly and emotionally.
i mean, people are allowed to have their own opinion on this whether moore cares or not.
never let the fact that something is unfilmable stop you from filming it at least 3 times.
haven’t seen this so no comment on this specifically, but that most recent ghostbusters has maybe the craziest example of queerbaiting i’ve seen in recent memory. i’m not particularly sensitive to that stuff and even i was like ‘if i was gay i’d be so offended right now’
they turned an old porno theatre into a rock climbing gym here.
people with kids - what do your kids think about inside out, and are they excited for inside out 2?
yeah, more of the same is still more of the same, even if that same is really good.
you know you’re in the audience, too.
i hope he just keeps making random exorcism movies ever year
well you out ‘well actually’d me there.
kind of as bad as it gets here, though. it definitely happens (and i’m not sure it won’t happen again on this very project), but the press and fan reaction to this movie has essentially been ‘why can’t they do this very easy this we’ve seen 3 times already?’
just let em have their own corner of the galaxy and do whatever.
guy who goes to the movies twice in 5 years: it’s a shame theatres are so expensive now.
