i really think the solution to both pixar and star wars is to announce a pixar star wars trilogy. 

i’ve also been a big justice smith fan since the get down and it’s great finally seeing him in something worth of his talents.

not versed enough in highlander to speak to this, only seen the first one.

yeah also...it will continue to exist. sony is also in the business of having good PR and know how bad it will look if they just come in and fuck it over. this sounds like a shot in the arm to me.

that unique feeling of feeling like a passive observer in your own life (while not to take away from the fact it is overtly a trans metaphor in this movie) is handled so well i think anyone who’s ever experienced it at all can relate.

and also that’s been my experience with using spotify. i feel absolutely no urgency with new music anymore.

if anyone ever had the displeasure of reading that particular jj abrams script (it was leaked online back when people used to leak scripts and stuff all the time) it was...awful. at the end it was revealed that luthor was also kryptonian and they had a matrix-style kung fu fight.

to me it’s not even ‘a case to be made’ it’s just fully in the text of the movie. they’re an unreliable narrator chasing an unreliable character in an unreliable world!

tv glow might be my fave of the year so far. 

i never even watched or liked this show but this made me very sad.

so is stewart, if not technically back as ‘the host’, back to being ‘the face’ of the daily show?

i actually went back to rewatch it because of all the ending talk on here...and i have to say you’re all babies with poop in your diapers. ending rocks! whole movie rocks!

i don’t pretend to understand the disney/pixar ownership structure, does pixar own their own stuff outright to this degree? could disney not just strongarm them if the line goes down enough?
