she was solid, but all of those shows cannibalized each other.

well back then it was seen as a bit uncouth to sell an energy drink or tequila. would kill for a charlston heston energy drink so much.

f&f actually much more damning. he’s periodically returned to wrestling several times since becoming an actor.

his chronic lateness also helped them qualify for health care according to the article, so in many ways he’s also a union hero.

i know everyone here likes being sarcastic way more than they like movies, but i genuinely cannot wait to see whatever the hell this thing is.

all the rep screenings i go to are full of people 25 and under. they’re going to the movies, they just want to go real movies.

the main problem is they actually suck

also like...i’m not gonna be working with him ever, so what do i care if he’s costing apple millions by being late? frankly that’s kind of cool.

even as a fan of him in the role...buddy you did 4 mainline movies and 4 avengers movies. you don’t owe us anything. in fact, please make extraction 3 instead.

oh no not eli roth’s reputation!

i’m the one guy actually really excited for beverly hills cop 4.

could do without the lin manuel miranda of it all, but idk this seems like it’ll be just as fine as the last one.

his new podcast is really good, as an aside.

found the venom fan!

buddy they made a show out of frequency.

jc chandor is a decent director and christopher abbot is a great actor. people seem to be high on ATJ in general. i’m obviously grading on a sony-verse curve here!

challengers has basically been every 2nd or 3rd post on my letterboxd feed, and everyone is giving it 4 stars and above. it’s definitely a hit with urban-30-somethings. word of mouth is pretty incredible.

from a moneyball perspective he’s certainly still undervalued, but i’m still surprised he can’t get an 8 episode comedy series made. he was able to get the birthday boys a show!

does the marketing machine not understand that bob odenkirk is a huge star? obviously cross has always been a little niche, but i’m a little surprised odenkirk’s name doesn’t get it past the goalie.

it’s really funny that this is simultaneously the one that has the pedigree to maybe be a decent movie, but is also the property that should be a movie least of all.
