not sure what qualifies gad for this beyond ‘is also fat’

michael cera also demolished.

my friend ally made this movie and i saw it last fall. it’s very good! (she also put me in a music video once, which was very nice of her)

i was just today thinking about how much i miss spoof comedy. obviously it’s mostly been awful, but i just miss it as a genre more than anything. angie tribeca was really good and that was basically the last thing i saw deploy it.

has there been a single successful ufc-to-hollywood story? carano can’t act, ronda rousey can’t act, conor macgregor REALLY can’t act. shit, don ‘the dragon’ wilson might be the only one, and he started acting before they even called it ufc.

he made an entire 30 years career out of doing a jim carrey impression that says ‘fuck’ sometimes it’s crazy.

looks like the biggest piece of shit ever.

paying for the ‘from the people who brought you barbie’ tagline in the trailer. worth it!

i mean same goes for the first season of the us office. that shit only aired because of the writers strike haha.

love that it’s gonna be like 5 years before we get closure on that cliffhanger ending.

hindsight is 20/20, but it was only a few years earlier they were shooting up batman and amy schumer movies. theatre shootings seem to have gone out of fashion, but it wasn’t inconceivable that someone would shoot up joker*

like i said i went to an apocalypse now screening and it was full of 20 year olds.

as much as i think philips is a hack at least he’s an ambitious hack. taking 200 million dollars to make a joker sequel into a lady gaga musical is...really dumb and i respect it.

ironically he starred in a movie literally called ‘the adults’ last year.

i mean making whatever this is for 100 million IS him working with constraints. 100 million dollars doesn’t get you that far these days, it’s what ‘air’ cost.

anything is possible, but the response seems more like ‘this is difficult’ than ‘this is bad’

surely it’s safe to call barbie a ‘preexisting franchise’

Acknowledgment to the Works of Harlan Ellison” has gotta be the most passive aggressive credits in cinema history.

you’re not wrong but it just reeks of laziness and being a boring loser.

i actually thought dwight and angela had the most interesting relationship on the show.
