Well one thing I can say about this season was how ballsy it was to go in the direction it did and make the creative choices it made. This season was certainly the black sheep of the series. After the previous two were very clear cut in their views on morality and good and evil, this one settled for a more ugly-gray,…
Fuck these plebs! Internet friends are the best friends.
I am a perfect person and everyone around me is flawed and full of shit.
Absolutely loved the first half. Swango/Wrench with Ray Wise as God(?) team up to take down Varga all the way! It just sucks that the second half felt like such a dip. Every other subplot really pales in comparison and made me want to return to the first half. At least Gloria didn't have to deal with her…
Fingers crossed for a Nikki/Wrench team up! Always was annoyed that we never found out what happened to him. Hope he gets to kick some ass.
They're not explicitly detailed, just a brief synopsis of what's to come. There's nothing super spoilers about them.
I'll be honest, I had a feeling Ray would be taken out this episode since I noticed he wasn't being mentioned in future episode summaries. RIP Ray. You died in the most Fargo-est of ways.
I actually really liked this episode. Maybe I'm biased because I've been a huge fan of Eric since his Tom Goes to the Mayor days with Tim, but I thought he was great here even with some awkward dialogue. He and Aziz's relationship is very touching (guess it helps that they're friends in real life). And that car scene…
Maybe Varga's bulimia ties into his being able to disappear speech to Emmit. He's throwing up all of his food as if he never ate it at all? Like he was never there?
I got an account in 2008 at the suggestion of my friends. They didn't sing it over the top praises but I was sold on it at the time.
OK, last week I was a bit shaky on the premiere but this episode has me completely hooked. I'm rooting the most for Ray and Nikki. And that downward spiral for poor Emmit and Sy is excellent.
Can we just acknowledge what an awful combover the guy has?
I will agree that this was the weakest of the three season openings, but maybe that's just because the body count was higher and far more horrifically violent in the previous two.
Get out of here, Rich Evans! Go take your diabetes medicine!
I’ve been involved in a number of cults both as a leader and a follower. You have more fun as a follower but you make more money as a leader.
The movie's it's based on is actually very well made and points out the shortcomings of everyone and how white and black people judge each other. I'm willing to bet money that the majority of angry commenters are simply going by the title.
I actually started hearing streaks of Jamaican in there. It reminded me of that 30 Rock episode with Liz Lemon only the reverse happened with her.
It's also not a creative color.
I meant in general terms as a show that's several years past its prime but keeps getting more seasons added on.
