I have a theory on io9. OK, hear me out. What if it has turned into a sort of “Producers” style scam? Tank the IP enough so that the asking price for it will be low enough for someone to swoop in buy it for a song?

I think it’s great some of these sites and finally digging a little deeper into the effort to smear Gunn (IE who’s actually doing it, and what they represent).

Not surprisingly, after the cast letter for James Gunn was released this week like so much kraken, plenty of news outlets have a lot to say on the matter.
