There is no sustainable quantity for rhino horn. There are too few rhinos to start culling them for horn. We need all of them alive if we want them to continue as a species.

Murder is illegal, too. We still have too many. Do you propose we legalize that, too? The effect of horn poaching is much closer to murder than to drug smuggling. Rhinos might not be people, but that are endangered, and very close to extinction. Some of the species are extinct.

Yeah I’m not someone that usually puts animals before humans but something about Poaching and especially of endangered animals make me irrationally angry. I realize it’s not rational to be that upset but its just a shitty thing to do and I’m tired of these animals dying in agony for fucking snake oil. 

And this is precisely why the standalone Star Wars movies don’t work so well. They’re cut off from the trilogy films and can’t add anything new to the franchise’s “present day” timeframe.

Great insight. I knew pitting Wasp/Antman against a foe that doesn’t share the same powerset had to be intentional and smart filmmaking. It’s a complaint many (including myself) have had about several modern superhero films. Makes for a much more unique and somewhat cerebral fight when the protagonist is going against
