Where do you think I fell in love with 908LT?

Oh my god, I love this thing SO MUCH. I’m obsessed with Porsche Longtails so this is a dream come true

I mean our family had known her for 30+ years and she had done very well for themselves (or so we thought). We didn’t invest everything with them and are decently diversified so we made sure to hedge our bets. As I understand it, the first money we put in had a good return on investment, so we reinvested it and then

I really appreciate the response, it’s nice to know I’m not alone. As for revenge, I'll let the banks she scammed drag her through the mud for years.

I’m mean I totally agree with you. People who do scam people like this suck royally, and investing in consumer debt portfolios is sketchy as hell.

Thanks, I appreciate that. The person who scammed my family is being investigated for a bunch of other stuff because it turned out they’re really shady and I’m guessing they’ll eventually go to jail, but I kind of doubt that they’ll get her for this specific crime which kind of pisses me off. I also recently found out

Fucking Ponzi schemes are the worst. My family lost a non-trivial amount of money to someone who we thought was reputable and got screwed over. It sucks. We’ve reported it and I even reached out to news but it feels like no one cares, and even admitting it feels so embarrassing.

California to Connecticut in my WRX STi
(not that epic but it was a lot of fun and also my only road trip)

Yeah, doing 400 miles a week in a bumpy car isn't exactly fun but it's doable. I'm currently commuting that much in a 2016 WRX STi and occasionally after a long day I do curse myself for not buying something softer.

I’m so happy to see the MGB-GT back in Forza, I’ve missed it since Forza4.

That’s the thing about an MGB, it’s hard to be sad in one. It’s an objectively ridiculous vehicle and you have to accept it as it is. By any modern standard, it’s not a good car and you can’t drive it very fast, but it truly exemplifies the idea that “It’s better to drive a slow car fast than drive a fast car slow”.

My first car was a 1971 MGB-GT that I bought in 2011 and it was absolutely perfect, only like 30,000 miles on it. I learned how to drive stick shift on it but had to sell her after a few months due to extenuating circumstances. It taught me that the journey was much more important than the destination, which you

My first car, a 1971 MGB-GT. Words cannot express how much I miss it.

I mean that would probably bring world peace. If everyone had one of those for a backroads drive, no one would be able to be mad long enough to hold a grudge.

If the only car produced by Porsche was the 911 GT3 touring, I would be able to sleep soundly at night.

Make cars with a slight lift you say?

Thank you! The Jaguar XKRS-GT put up a good fight though.

Good point, I totally forgot about the corvette. There still aren’t very many cars more powerful than the Enzo Ferrari (only 660 hp) that let you row your own gears though.

The FCA is giving the people exactly what they say they want.
You want horsepower? Have a Deamon or a Redeye!
You want a track car? Take the Viper ACR!
Do you want a 700 horsepower family sedan that you can drive every day? You got it! You can ever get that engine in an SUV that can tow like 4500 LBS.
Yeah they might
