agree with your first point, but this...

I used to not like GGG, but I really dig it now. I started rewatching from the very first episode earlier this year, to truly get a feel for how it has evolved. Because I enjoy cooking, I ask myself what I would make for each game, some of which are ready quite challenging, when you think about it. Sure, some of the

I’ll compete, only if I get to actually beat Bobby Flay as the prize.

Could part of your nostalgia be that you were stoned at the time?

as someone who is quite fond of Jesus worship and is not conservative, leave us out of your count, there are a lot of progressive Christians who want none of what conservatism is.

Those of us who left miss those days too, FWIW: https://episodicmedium.substack.com/

2011 reddit-ass opinion, homie

This might be the dumbest take on it yet. Yes let’s cheer on a mega corporation suing and jailing programmers so a game they already abandoned can continue to not exist. They are gaining nothing out of this.

Spider-Man 3 is a bad film, but it understands Spider-Man in a way that The Amazing Spider-Man doesn’t. The latter, in fact, misses the point of the character by a very wide margin.

I mostly remember that movie for trying to make Bing a thing.

My personal “favorite” is when the behavior and anatomy of these fantasy creatures map to stereotypes of groups of people and we’re expected to just write this off as a wee coinkydink.

3 is a glorious fiasco while ASM is a bland, workmanlike rehash of a movie that came out only ten years before. The latter is probably a better movie, but if I were to pick a Spider-Man movie to watch on a whim I’d reach for 3 first.

I doubt theyd replace the whole character with someone else, mccrees been in game since day 1 and has a LOT of unlockable cosmetics and it would cause a lot of people to be upset if suddenly they lost all that stuff.

it stops the problem of having a character named after one of the cosby suite guys. I probably won’t play the game ever again but if I did I would much rather not have the character named that...

Technically a square is a rhombus. It just happens to also be a rectangle.

I mean, they already have Ashe.

The real Jesse McCree was not the Overwatch team’s direct problem to handle. But they are handling the part of him that is their problem. It was never their call to move or not move on firing the employee.

Overwatch Dev team != Activision Blizzard corporate

Wolverine is almost never depicted as short as he is supposed to be whenever he shows up outside the comics, Huge Jackedman playing him seems to have affected his other depictions and how everyone who is not a comic nerd perceives him. Hell, plenty of artists IN the comics don’t get it right either.
