Asparagus has been on sale at the Chinese grocery where I do all of my shopping, and I honestly thought its “side-effect” was overblown, but after a few days of eating it on the reg let me tell you, it’s unbelievably real.

That said, I have all of these ingredients readily available and no air fryer, so I’ll probably

Ugly Delicious is one of the best food shows I’ve ever seen, and I’m overjoyed that we get a second season. Four episodes is better than nothing, and I’m going to savour each and every one of them.

While I understand WHY they opted for a more traditional Western style of spoon made of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, I think a Chinese soup spoon would have been much easier to construct as it’s a uniform thickness throughout, meaning that they would be able to easily fold and shape a sheet of cereal before baking it.

Was that not directly linked in the article? Maybe it didn’t show up on mobile-

We were never going to have Fictoria asked about her modeling ““edgy”” apparel. After all, we were regaled with five-plus minutes of “RACISM BAD” after over an hour of women sniping and tearing one another down.

I’m honestly aghast that the Frosty-ccino is so bad. I agree that it seems like such an obvious move to literally mix coffee with a Frosty to achieve a more drinkable beverage.

Just want to say that this Asian vegetarian would love to get a (meat-free) Bagelrito in and around his mouth Immediately-

Judging by the location of the Toronto Sun offices, it’s 345 Bloor St E. If you were being serious, anyway. If not than most McDonald’s franchises in the city serve bagels, muffins, etc.

Is it bad that my first thought was: “Of course a *Toronto Sun* reporter is going to ‘pretend to compost it.’”

I initially thought this was referring to Golden Patty, a spot that makes some of the best Jamaican patties in Toronto. Alas, I’ll be on the lookout for this regardless. As a recent convert to vegetarianism the veggie patties I have had almost hit the spot, but not quite-

Absolutely in love with the mental image of a middle schooler taking a photo of his mom who is a) holding a homemade flag in a public restaurant and b) about to down a fried chicken sandwich bedecked in shrimp covered in a sauce brought from home.

Exactly! I genuinely do think you need to be within a certain income bracket to afford a service like Blue Apron. Imagining even $5 per person is staggering to me, and that’s as someone who used to cook meat semi-regularly!

The waste was a huge deterrent for me, but the price was the nail in the coffin. I buy groceries and cook for myself and my roommate and I can’t remember the last time I spent more than $30 a week (probably the last time I had to buy a large bag of rice).

The first sentence (that when people think noodle soup they think “chicken noodle”) isn’t wrong. I personally really enjoyed the article listing off the different varieties of noodle soup, in spite of being familiar with many of them!

You wouldn’t think people in the dairy industry would be so fragile given how much calcium is supposed to strengthen your bones-

I straight-up stopped drinking caffeine in my second year of college, mostly because I saw just how dependent on it my peers had become. Been going strong for over a decade now-

As someone who has cut their meat/fish consumption down to roughly one day a month, I was pretty hyped for Peter and Madison to eat ceviche, even as I knew, in my heart of hearts, that there was no way that raw(cured) fish was going to be consumed on The Bachelor.

A little disappointed that the draft was so dominated by both chocolate and peanut butter, as some variation on that appeared for all three contestants.

Now playing

Chinese Cooking Demystified is my go-to source for authentic Chinese recipes, and their re gan mian looks great!

Peter is possibly the most weak-willed Bachelor we have ever had. The fact that he actually cut Victoria P. episode staggered me, because he’s allergic to women’s tears and can’t bear to upset them.
