To be clear, there have been front-engined V12 Ferraris a few times in recent years, like the 612 Scaglietti of the mid-2000s.

185K? So, Tesla still has the market cornered on the whole premium EV sedan with the Model S then. I admittedly haven’t paid that much attention to this things development, but I thought this was actually meant to be a Model S competitor. At that price.... no.
Calling an EV a “Turbo” is absurd. I really dislike this blurring of automotive terms practiced by BMW, Mercedes, and now Porsche. It’s very un-German of them. The German language probably has a very specific word for precisely this type of thing.
I see you didn’t watch the video.
I totally agree. If it's not a production car, then the result is pretty meaningless. I am impressed that they solved the issue of the tires though, which is what was holding back the original Chiron.
While its fast as hell and extremely impressive, im going put this under the “Meh” section. Straight-piped and gutted interior with exposed computers puts this in the same class as the Ford GT that broke the 300mph limit. Make it a production car and run that with Guiness...Until then the 300mph war continues.
Reason 2,567 to ban the damn things.
Have you been in a city with them? The sheer numbers of them just lying all over the sidewalk is the concern. Sure it’s just another projectile, but there’s a ton of them, and they’re small enough to be lifted by the wind and big enough to cause a shit ton of damage to anything they slam into.
God’s way of telling you these things suck.
No, please leave them out. I hope every single one of these gets picked up by the hurricane and violently thrown directly into the dump!
it looks SOOOO much better than the enzo does, i believed that when it came out and i think it holds true today, its definitely aged more gracefully.
Hard to define it when the company is largely a sham. The car seems to be a success from a performance standpoint, but Hennessey is a con artist and is not a real car manufacturer.
When the STI first came out, it was the bee’s knees and absolutely fantastic and wonderful and etc. etc. Affordable performance that let you compete with cars costing three times as much, etc. But now that’s... just not the case. The Focus RS completely lapped it. A 4-cylinder Mustang will be faster for less money.…
My dad bought a 3 year old used a Quattroporte
Not sure I saw where he mentioned race here. I could see Post Malone Rolling a ridiculously tacky Cullinan.
Getting 1000 hp out of a tiny motor isn’t crazy.
BMW was getting well over 1k horsepower from a stock-block 1.5L I-4 in the mid-80s. Look up BMW M12.
