There are things that I generally preferred about the remix (the alternating between characters improved the pacing) but somehow even though the remix had more episodes, the original had more jokes that were cut from the remix. Also there are some jokes and reveals in the original that don’t translate in the remix in

I just finished a rewatch of seasons 1-4 and aside from some dated jokes (a lot has changed since 2013), season 4 is much better than its reputation. I watched both the “remix” and the original cut and the original is better.

The version from Live in New York City where he shares lead vocals with Patti, Clarence, Nils, and Stevie makes me want to cry every time.

“You’re not Cheddar. You’re just some common bitch!”

Awkward as this is, it’s fun to see the Paul Shaffer band backing them up and getting into it, shows how eclectic they are.

I was totally like Joshua when I was a kid.

That was actually the opposite situation. It was an already rejected pilot that was awkwardly re-edited as an Office episode.

Engel was a semi-regular on Everybody Loves Raymond for the last few years so there’s that!

Tunnel of Love is a goddamn masterpiece. I remember listening to “One Step Up” on repeat when I was going through a tough breakup. It’s such a deeply personal album and a very relatable one. As for Human Touch and Lucky Town, I rarely listen to those two albums from beginning to end but there are still a handful of

I really liked that show and wish it had lasted longer. My local PBS station was so erratic in scheduling it, it’s pretty clear they had no faith in it. The movie review TV show is pretty much a dead format in the age of YouTube but I certainly miss it a lot.

Yikes. “I never touched anyone. I was only verbally abusive!” is not a great defense. The full interview is even more insane, insinuating that the allegations were part of a conspiracy to get him fired from the show for not being trans in real life.

I liked the original season 4 for the most part though I also acknowledge it wasn’t as laugh out loud funny as the first three seasons. I also haven’t rewatched it since it came out five years ago (wow, time flies) so I’ve been able to watch the “remix” with fresh eyes and I’m really enjoying it. It’s still not as

Is this an episode of I Love Music Videos?

I thought it came from 30 Rock, that’s where I first heard it.

Garry Tallent is the low talker.

According to IMDb, Bruce has been nominated for an Emmy before, once for the Live in New York City concert special in 2001 (which won a couple of Emmys for lighting and editing) and again for his Super Bowl halftime show performance in 2009. He lost in 2001 to some Cirque du Soleil special that I doubt anyone

Seeing Cabaret on Broadway with Alan Cumming and Emma Stone might be the greatest live theater experience I’ve ever had. Certainly nothing has topped it yet. I know it sounds like sacrilege but I can’t even really enjoy the Bob Fosse movie version that much because the production I saw is so much better and I feel

Check out some of her Daily Show appearances. That’s how I became a fan of hers.

They said the same thing about Colbert in 2006 and that’s now considered a legendary performance.
